Functional disorders of the nervous system

There are a number of diseases of the nervous system that are traditionally considered "neurological" or "therapeutic." It's quite an extensive group of diseases, such as chronic pain, Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, epilepsy, neuralgia of the cranial nerves and spinal nerves facet, spastic conditions. 

For a long time all these diseases were treated only by conservative methods. Patients with movement disorders, severe pains almost lifelong, taking many different drugs, which often have significant side effects or even lead to irreversible changes in the already weakened body, further compounding the course of chronic disease. With the emergence of functional neurosurgery in such patients, new perspectives, using minimally invasive techniques to significantly reduce their suffering, and often completely get rid of them. Currently this range of pathologies is the application of methods of functional neurosurgery.
