Stroke school 2022

On August 04-05, 2022, in Nur-Sultan, at the Hilton Garden Inn Astana hotel, the scientific and practical conference "Stroke School 2022" is being held with the international participation. Leading experts - neurologists, neurosurgeons, resuscitators, rehabilitation specialists will discuss problems related to the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of stroke, important issues about the state of the stroke service in the Republic of Kazakhstan and share the latest developments in innovative methods of stroke treatment.
The organizer of the event is the Republican Coordinating Center for Stroke Problems JSC "National Center for Neurosurgery" of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
    As part of this event, it is planned:
1. Competition for the best stroke centers: based on the results of 2020-2021. The best stroke centers of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be announced. In total, there are 74 stroke centers in the country providing medical care to patients with strokes. Of these, 3 stroke centers will be awarded.
2. Issuance of certificates: all participants of the conference will be awarded certificates with credits (4 h) that can be used for advanced training.
3. Special issue of the journal "Neurosurgery and Neurology of Kazakhstan": a special issue of the journal is devoted exclusively to stroke and contains 12 articles, of which 2 are original articles. A special issue of the journal is published only once a year as part of the Stroke School conference.
    More than 170 specialists arrived from near and far abroad, as well as from the regions of our country, to participate in the International Conference.
