National Center for Neurosurgery has been accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI) for the fourth time. Accreditation of the JCI standard is a gold standard, most prestigious award of quality and safety of services in medical organisations.From March 28 to March 31, 2022, within 4 days, workers undergo a comprehensive rigorous online audit by the independent international commission JCI. The US audit team included Sharon Coulter James, Administrative Expert and Team Leader, Enrico Baldantoni, Physician Expert, and Marie M. Dennis, Nursing Expert.
The JCI certificate is issued if, according to the results of the audit of the group of auditors of the International Commission, a Medical Organizations meets 1200 measurable elements of JCI standards. All divisions and processes of the Center for Neurosurgery were assessed according to them: treatment of a doctor, staffing, nursing care, safety monitoring, infection control, medication treatment, and the search for patient rights, etc. Based on the results of the audit dated March 31, 2022 and the decision-making rules of the Joint International Commission JCI, the National Center for Neurosurgery was assigned the status ACCREDITED.
