Mayor of the Esil district of the city of Nur-Sultan visited the National Centre for Neurosurgery

On February 21, 2022, the Mayor of the Esil district of the city of Nur-Sultan Yesenbayev Asylbek Yesimkhanovich and his deputy for social development Algatbekovich Darmenyar Kydyrbek-uly paid a working visit to the National Center for Neurosurgery.

    The delegation got acquainted with the activities of the Center, the work of clinical departments, the department of vascular and functional neurosurgery, the department of spinal neurosurgery. The guests also visited the Department of Radiology and Radiosurgery, where the only Gamma Knife unit in Central Asia operates. For 9 months of operation of the Gamma Knife, 320 Kazakhstanis have received treatment without going abroad.

    The parties discussed the development of mutual cooperation. At the end of the meeting, the delegation highly appreciated the work of the Center, noted the selfless work of each medical worker of the clinic and wished the staff of the Center good health, prosperity and great success.
