Tuesday, 21 july 2020Today, doctors of the National Center for Neurosurgery held telemedicine consultations with colleagues from the regional clinical hospital of the Turkestan region.
During the telemedicine consultation, the cases of two patients with severe closed craniocerebral trauma and severe brain contusions were reviewed. The doctors of the regional hospital told about the condition of the patients for the current day. Having studied the anamnesis and health status of these patients, as well as familiarized themselves with their analyzes and research results, the doctors of the National Center for Neurosurgery have developed further tactics for treating patients. In addition, the specialists of the Center made recommendations for MRI scan of the brain of these patients in order to determine the possibility of surgical treatment.
Now, in this difficult time for the country, in many regions there is a personnel shortage in medical institutions, many clinics have been closed and converted into provisional centers. And in this regard, the Center for Neurosurgery is ready to support colleagues in providing specialized and qualified care to patients from the regions. Thanks to modern technologies and telemedicine, it is possible, together with colleagues, to discuss issues on the diagnosis and treatment of complex and serious diseases, which in turn contributes to making the right decisions in the management and treatment of patients.
